So enthusiastic was the reception of the costumes worn by the Moorish Americans during their parade that the members of the Moorish Science Temple has decided to have at different times what they will call a Moroccan costume ball. This affair will be had shortly after the holidays, about New Year’s Eve.
The Prophet consented that this could be for the entertainment of the members. Other groups of people in the city have been using the dress of our fore-fathers and imitating them all but the olive hue which they cannot get. During the Moorish convention more than fifteen hundred Moroccan costumes were rented to Europeans who had seen the program and knew the Moors were to have a costume parade. But nevertheless, we were successful in obtaining through certain Asiatic costume dealers all the costumes we wanted.
The Moorish Costume ball will be among the first of such given where an idea is put forth that has to do with the origin or the millions of people in this country who can trace their ancestry back to the illustrious founder of civilization. It will remind the descendants of this people of the time when their fore-fathers were the main people to spread the most progressive ideas of civilization. In fact they saved civilization many times when more barbaric tribes from the forth were ravishing all countries they were permitted to enter. It was the forefathers of the Moorish Americans and their near kin that saved the historic records that were threatened during the days when the burning of libraries was a fad for despotic soldiers. This costume ball will be much looked for and appreciated.

It was done when I was on my trip around to the Temples in 1929. And they confessed a few days ago, that it was done in a private meeting. And that meeting took place in August, as I visited the different Temples.
They kept it a secret, till we met in the Convention and in the midst of our grief for our Beloved Prophet. They knew we would not be expecting anyone to come in the Convention with envy & hate. Yet they did and railroaded their purpose through. Unsuspecting , but not with caution, and to the effect, that if there were any Laws or Resolutions passed that conflicted in any way, with those of our Prophet's, they would not be considered Law, until the next setting of the Supreme Grand Council and that body has not had a meeting yet.
And any actions on his part as Supreme Grand Advisor before the meeting of the S.G.C. WAS AND IS UNLEGAL UNLESS HE HAD BEEN GIVEN THAT RIGHT BY THE CONVENTION. Which body it was that made him that. Then since the Council did not meet before our next Regular National Convention of the Moorish Science Temple of America, and empowered the same. According to the Holy Koran, in verse 22, Chapter 10, the act of the Convention of 1929 is unconstitutional, when it made Bro. C. Kirkman Bey S.G. A. We sent this brother word to meet us in that convention. I even told him at my home. He promised me on the day our Convention met; he would be with us in the Convention. He would not meet us why? He did not want to see himself voted out of office.

Chapter 2:13 of HKMSTofA,”An age had passed, the gate unto another age flies open at the age touch of time. This is the preparation age of soul, the kingdom of Immanuel, of Allah in man”. This is before the Internet, mass communication, and cell phones. The Prophet didn’t have a Malcolm X, or Yahweh ben Yahweh to assist him. The Prophet stood alone and taught in vacant lots on milk crates with his red fez blazing, in barbershops, homes, and where sincere people wanted to learn about that “old time religion” from oh so long ago. Noble Drew Ali was an Americanized prophet. He was the very first to bring the Divine Light of Islamism to the lost and fallen Asiatics descendant of the true blood of the inhabitants of what is called Africa today. Our Great Prophet Drew Ali practiced meticulously what he preached. He had a superb personality and his life was a perfect example of total obedience to Allah’s command. His record speaks for itself. He was an unrivalled Leader, Teacher, General, Statesman, Husbandman, friend, brother, and above all a true and real servant of Allah. His conduct and behavior even impressed his open enemies. And as Holy Prophet Noble Drew Ali is the Spiritual father of Islam of All Moslems in America, he is not the author. Allah, who raised him from amongst us, is. Peace
